These stunning gold coins mark the Year of the Snake, the sixth animal in the Chinese zodiac. Each zodiac animal is thought to influence the traits of people born in its year. If you were born in 2025, 2013, 2001, 1989, 1977, or any similar year, you fall under the Snake sign, which is often associated with qualities like ambition, intelligence, independence, and charm.
There’s no set limit for the 10 oz, 2 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz, and 1/20 oz coins. However, production will wrap up by the end of 2025, when The Perth Mint will finalize and announce how many of each coin were made. The 1 oz coins will have a maximum of 30,000 minted, and production will end once they’re sold out or the series concludes, whichever comes first. Because there are fewer of these 1 oz coins, they’re expected to be popular and might sell out quickly.
