Check out these cool silver coins celebrating the Year of the Snake. It’s one of the twelve animals in the Chinese zodiac. Each sign is thought to give certain traits to people born during its year. If you were born in 2025, 2013, 2001, 1989, 1977, or any similar year, you’re a Snake—people say Snakes are ambitious, smart, independent, and charming.
There’s no set limit on the 1 kilo, 5 oz, 2 oz, and 1/2 oz coins, but the 1 kilo ones will stop being made by the end of 2025, when The Perth Mint will reveal how many were produced. For the 1 oz coins, they plan to mint up to 300,000. Once they’re sold out or the series is over, they won’t make any more. Because there are fewer of these, the 1 oz coins are expected to sell out pretty fast.
